A Little Bit About Me
I'm quite politically active, we're all Corbynites in my family. I've been going on demonstrations for years and at the moment the plight of the refugees evokes strong emotions in me, it's a guiding factor in me wanting to do something, anything however small, to help.

My favourite book is Anna Karenina, I love Russian literature. I also love reading and rereading Fanon and Sartre - political philosophy for the entertainment not necessarily for the practice.

My religion is important to me, I don't wear the hijab but I know that I will, in sha Allah. I hope that isn't too much of a deal breaker.

I'm the eldest of four siblings, they're all married and we have dinner together at my parent's house almost every day. Staying together as a family is important to my parents and to me, so if you're still interested after the single parent non-hijabi information, I hope being part of an extended family isn't going to scare you away.

I love to travel and try to visit a different country every year. I've never had a relaxing holiday, when I'm abroad I travel as much as possible to see as much of the country as I can.

I'd love to have more children, and give my own child siblings to grow up with.
